Advice for Tasting
El Massaya may stand alone as on aperitif or accompany meals.
In order to appreciate it fully during the meals, fill one third of the glass with this superior arak and top off two thirds of fresh water and then add several ice cubes.

The mezze is usually a combination of flavors difficult to pair with wines.
Therefore, we recommend El Massaya arak with the traditional Lebanese mezze.
Indeed, the aniseed taste refreshes the palate and makes every bite a great experience

Advice for aperitif and cocktails
for aperitif, El Massaya can be sipped as “allongé”. For that, add up to six times water to this premium arak and fill it up with ice. Or we recommend very refreshing cocktails for the sunny days.

Just follow the recipes below:

Blue Massaya
35ml El Massaya
15 ml blue curacao
5 ml rose water
Stir and Strain into a martini
long orange twist

Mint Pause
1 measure of El Massaya
1 measure of peppermint
4 measures of water
Fill a glass with crushed ice and pour on it the cocktail, using mint leaves for decoration

1 spoonful of lemon juice
1 spoonful of Worcestershire
