The main restaurant covers most of the ground floor and is organized into two dining rooms and a terrace.
The lounge, with a capacity for 45 guests, boasts a cozy fireplace and is the gateway to the vaulted dining room conceived for celebrations or family lunches with up to 80 guests seated in front of an open kitchen-fireplace where most of the cooking takes place. The terrace can accommodate 100 guests next to the vineyards and overlooking the valley and Beirut.
During the sunny season, the terrace is a perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air under the shade of trees and pergolas while taking in a magnificent view of the vines, the Roman temple, the valley, Beirut and the Mediterranean Sea.
During the winter season, the impressive vaulted restaurant is a warm nest for relaxation, authenticity and simplicity, with a fireplace at eye level and furniture made of wooden barrel staves … and some very comfortable couches.
The menu is influenced by Massaya’s numerous visits around the world, and top chefs help us regularly turn local ingredients into new and interesting dishes.
Grilled meat is cooked on the fireplace before your eyes, and we serve classical stew pots, fresh salads, as well as quality cheeses and cold cuts. In addition to our longtime favorites – friké, grilled vegetables, lapin à la moutarde, poulet au whisky – we seasonally extend our menu by adding new specials, such as filet orlove, grilled foie gras with carob sauce, and Portobello steaks, all inspired by combining the authenticity of our Beqaa roots with the experience of Massaya's international journeys.
