FIREPLACE RESTAURANT
At ground level, next to the winery is the Fireplace Restaurant. With vaulted, double-height ceilings, cozy couches and stave barrel furniture, this is the place for memorable meals with friends and family. The main menu options are classical pots of stews, meats grilled on the fireplace before your eyes, fresh salads, quality cheeses and cold cuts. We simmer our own stocks from scratch – no magical cubes, no additives, no powder flavoring. Our ingredients are fresh and seasonal. We source from local farmers across Lebanon, including from those at our very own garden in Tanaïl. We select the finest quality meats and our sauces are 100% handcrafted. We never deep fry – we don’t even have fryers in the kitchen. We use only fresh ground spices in all our dishes. Homemade cakes and jams are also available. The menu is influenced by Massaya’s numerous visits around the world and top chefs regularly help us turn local ingredients into ambitious and exciting dishes.
SUNSETBAR
Located on the first floor, the SunsetBar offers an intimate ambiance with indoor and outdoor high seating. It is also a popular venue for healthy and tasty food. The menu is based around our log-burning pizza oven and includes pizza, fokhara, bruschetta, beef pierrade, and cheese fondue. The outdoor atrium is enchanting and can seat up to 60 guests, offering them a stunning view of the stars and the sunset, while the indoor venue can accommodate 40 guests during winter around the oven in a room decorated with barrel staves and corks. Here, and in all our restaurants, the full selection of Massaya red, white, and rosé wines is served by the glass, including numerous library wines.
THE POND SUMMER GARDEN
Through Lebanon's long summer there's nothing more natural than picnicking or partying al fresco in the fresh mountain air. On the hillside above the winery, we have incorporated a pond with charming terraces in an amphitheater shape. The scenery is enchanting with views across the gardens, the vines, the Roman temple and all the way to Beirut and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a perfect venue for our annual festival, La Belle Epoque, which features outdoor bands, the Habibi club dancing, picnics, vendors, outdoor movies, barrel painting and more. The Pond Summer Garden is also a life-changing venue to rent for your corporate events or wedding, and it can accommodate up to 600 guests!
